''Arbeitets Ridder'' was a Norwegian/Danish weekly labor newspaper published from Minneapolis in 1880s. ''Arbeitets Ridder'', which means Knight of Labour, was started on the initiative of the Scandinavian Labor and Sick Benefit Society. Politically, the paper was close to the Knights of Labor. The paper carried the subtitle 'Organ for the Scandinavian workers in the North-West'.〔Hoerder, Dirk, and Christiane Harzig. ''(Migrants from Northern Europe. The immigrant labor press in North America, 1840s-1970s : an annotated bibliography, 1 )''. New York (): Greenwood Press, 1987. p. 90.〕 Johannes B. Wist was the founding editor of the ''Arbeitets Ridder''. He served as editor of the newspaper from 1886 until 1887. Johannes Wist later became editor of the newspaper ''Decorah-Posten'' from 1901-1923.〔''Norwegian-American author and newspaperman Johannes B. Wist'' (The Promise of America) ()〕 ==References==
